Listening

Listening is an art that comes from a quiet mind and an open heart. Listening uses all of your senses, and it is a very subtle skill, not only with the ears but with your being. Your being becomes the instrument of listening. Your sensing mechanism in life is not just your ears, eyes, skin sensitivity, and analytic mind. It’s something deeper in you. It’s an intuitive quality of knowing. With all of your being, you become an antenna to the nature of another person. Then, for the relationship to remain a part of the Living Spirit, one of the best ingredients to put into the stew is truth.

Hello yogis,

I would like to invite you to join me for new OUTDOOR sunset yoga classes at 7:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Harriet and Joe Foster YMCA (located at 1234 W. 34th Street). Come and enjoy the fresh Fall air and practice yoga in the soft twilight starting Tuesday, October 6th through November 24th.

On Tuesdays we will have an enlivening Beginner Level Hatha Yoga class, and on Thursdays we will have a relaxing Yin Yoga class. We will practice behind the building in the sports field area. I recommend you bring an old blanket to spread out under your mat, and dress appropriately for the weather. In case of inclement weather, we will hold class in Group Exercise Room 2.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Namaste,

Dominique
